Appropriate lighting design is often a critical success factor in a commercial environment.
Colour temperatures and ambient lighting affect our mood, how comfortable or safe we feel, the way produce appears in a store. It has been shown to directly affect purchasing behaviour, how long customers stay, and how they feel about your brand.
The lighting in a bar or restaurant creates mood and ambience. It may be soft and seductive, or bright and fun-filled. It affects how we and others look, how long we stay and how much we spend.
Whether it is for a department store, a niche boutique, fine dining restaurant or hole-in-the-wall café, creative and effective lighting can contribute positively to the business’ success.
At ALTI Lighting we offer a design and supply service for all commercial applications including retail, hospitality, offices, hotels, health clubs, galleries, aged care, and other multi-residential developments.
Our experienced design consultants can interface between interior designers, architects, builders and the client to produce the best possible outcome, and to suit your budget and requirements.
After an initial brief by either phone or in our showroom we will produce our preliminary response including:
- Project overview including design guidelines and timeline
- A lighting layout complete with reflected ceiling plan showing the location of fixtures
- A luminaires schedule with images and details about the fixtures we recommend
- A luminance (lux) calculation and shadow diagram in plan and in 3D
- J6 Energy Efficiency Compliance report
We stock and display a wide range of fixtures that can be viewed and demonstrated to you in our showroom and dark rooms.
Optional services include site testing and commissioning, custom luminaire design, and dimming control testing.
