Abacus Espresso is a cool little coffee oasis nestled down Leederville's newest precinct, Electric Lane. The café brings a Perth flavor to the laneway coffee shop with a style that connects with the locality, and a premium range of local coffee roasters.
Interior designer Iota worked closely with the café owners in designing the space with a focus on experience for staff and patrons alike. A focus on flow of movement and the creation of considered cosy corners make it a comfortable place to settle in for a relaxing coffee catch up.
Alti collaborated with Iota, contributing to a lighting design complimentary to natural light, providing minimal functionality with simple highlights. A grouped pair of Acrobates 323 pendants by DCW Editions accent simply against the golden oak cabinetry behind the coffee, and the Lampe Gras No 214 wall lamp counterbalances above the solid oak table.
