Ideally suited to locations where power is not accessible or a highly portable light source is desired. Abled to be recharged via USB or 240V, battery powered lamps are commonly available in either dimmable or step dim options to provide control over illumination and to maximise battery life. Many cordless lamps are also IP Rated, making them suitable for exterior applications, however it is never recommended to leave them outdoors for a extended period of time.
