Todd is qualified both as a chartered accountant, and as an IES Lighting Technician. As MD Todd not only oversees the company operation but also heads up our design team, plays a key role in business development, and facilitates our relationship with suppliers.
ALTI and lighting design have been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. Not only was it the subject of many childhood dinner conversations with his father, but it was also his after-school and part-time uni job. After graduating he did several years with an international accounting practice before joining the family firm full-time. He was appointed General Manager in 2010 and completed the buy-out of the company in 2017.
Todd has led the design on many iconic projects in Western Australia including the St Georges Cathedral and Government House refurbishments, the Goods Shed/Form redevelopment and many multi-million dollar western suburbs residences.
He ensures his knowledge and skills are kept up-to-date by continued professional development and IES training; and by attending 3-4 international lighting events each year. Recently attended events include Light & Building in Frankfurt Germany, Maison & Objet in Paris, Euroluce in Milan Italy, and Light & Building in Guangzhou China.
Outside work Todd and Samantha are busy raising their young family, and on weekends Todd likes nothing better than a lazy afternoon on the couch with a beer and a good game of footy on the TV.
